Cerebral Palsy refers to a broad range of motor disorders which includes lifelong disturbance of tone, movement, posture and balance.There is a damage to the immature brain which can occur before, during or after birth. The resultant motor disorder may not be apparent at birth , however as the child develops and grows the diagnosis is usually made when he/she presents with poor or no control of his/her movements.
